If God has called you into marriage ministry, then He wants you to be His team, not just two individuals working side by side. Serving God together can be incredibly effective and provide a godly example to those you serve. It can also significantly increase your spiritual intimacy and unity as a couple.

Wherever you are and whatever you do together as a couple you are modeling coupleness. The picture people get can be a picture of Christ and the church or something much different. What picture do people see when they see you two?
